Finca Cuipo offers comfortable bungalows and Glamping in the rural area of Santa Marta, Colombia not far from the Tayrona National Park. The nature lodge is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, overlooking the Caribbean Sea and features an infinity pool.
Finca Cuipo offers three wooden bungalows, each with a balcony and an exclusive outdoor shower with views of the Caribbean Sea. The property also has two Glampings for you to experience nature in a different way.
At our kitchen you can discover “fusion” dishes inspired by flavours from around the world and Colombia and you can even learn how to prepare them.
Relax in the tranquility of our infinity pool while enjoying the view.

We are Helmut and Fiona, a young travel-passionate couple who came up with the idea of building our own eco lodge in January 2018. Our passion for exploring the world made us experience different types of hotels worldwide. And we quickly realized that we would love to offer an alternative experience: Combining the different traditions and cultures we explored around the world together with the high-quality standards we know travelers are looking for.
Finca Cuipo is a small family project where we offer you distraction-free, comfortable bungalows that help you connect with nature.
Coming from different backgrounds and having lived in many places around the world, we speak English, Spanish, German, Frisian, French and Portuguese to give you the best possible experience at our eco lodge.
We invite you to escape the busy city life for a peaceful and authentic mountain getaway in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
We look forward to welcoming you soon!
What does Finca Cuipo mean?
You might wonder what Finca Cuipo means. Let us explain!
In Colombia, finca is the most common word for farm
Cuipo is a famous tree native to South America; you may also know it as macondo
Its long and thick trunk gives it a majestic appearance. You will find our huge Cuipo right after you enter the Finca, and only then you will understand why we chose it to name our project.
