About Finca Cuipo
Finca Cuipo is a small, family-run nature lodge offering comfortable bungalows in a rural area of Santa Marta, Colombia, not far from Tayrona National Park.
Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the lodge is surrounded by tropical forest and features an infinity pool with breathtaking views. It is a peaceful place for travelers looking to slow down, reconnect with nature, and feel at home.
Finca Cuipo offers three comfortable bungalows, each with a private balcony and an exclusive outdoor shower overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The design is simple, elegant, and closely connected to nature.
In our kitchen, you can discover fusion dishes inspired by flavors from Colombia and around the world, prepared with care and enjoyed in a relaxed, communal atmosphere.
Our concept
We are Helmut and Fiona, a travel-passionate couple who decided in January 2018 to build our own eco lodge. After experiencing many types of hotels around the world, we felt inspired to create something different: a place that blends the cultures and traditions we discovered along the way with the comfort and quality travelers truly appreciate.
Finca Cuipo is a small family project offering distraction-free, comfortable bungalows designed to help you reconnect with nature and slow down.
Coming from different backgrounds and having lived in various countries, we speak English, Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese—so you can feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Because we live here, we host personally and are happy to help you beyond the stay itself — whether it’s sharing local knowledge, organizing experiences such as the Lost City Trek, or assisting with travel logistics along the Caribbean coast.
